SEO – How often should you vary your anchor text?
I have a two part question for any SEO experts out there.
1) How often should you vary your anchor text and what sort of breakdown would you use for maximum rankings? IE… 50% exact anchor text, 5% “click here” anchor text, etc.
2) How many links are “too many” according to google?
Now I understand that no one knows exactly what google’s algorithm says but certainly ppl should have the benefit of some good trial and error. I think I may be overoptimized and google bombing because my homepage has dropped in rankings a bit while I’ve been actively building Quality Backlinks.
You want to have your anchor text as tight as you can get it. Laser focused. Build your links in the same manner.
